Feeling Sorry was written by Zac and Sergio Ercole and heavily shaped by other Reg Cole band
members, Justin Lee and Tim Davies. It’s an acerbic tirade directed at people who seem to
constantly contribute to their own misfortune, moving musically from one feel to the next as the
critique intensifies. Looking back, with the benefit of 20 years, it seems quite harsh but, well…sorry!

You’re feeling sorry, sorry for yourself
You’re feeling lonely and left upon the shelf
You ever wonder how these things come to pass?
Perhaps you’re better off getting off your arse

‘Cause truth be known you’re boring with your whinging and your crying
If people tell you that they care they’re probably just lying

Perhaps I’m being a little rough

It’s hardly any wonder then that nobody is phoning

I can see why it is that you’re so disaffected
That’s why you need your head inspected
